A brief bio about Michael Millette, owner and founder of Millette Financial Solutions & Consulting

A little about Michael Millette, founder of Millette Financial Solutions & Consulting. Graduating from Northeastern University with a BS in Economics, Michael always had a passion for finance and business. Having owned and operated a stock brokerage operation in the 1990's and early 2000's growing it to a multi million dollar business, Michael knows the challenges and rewards of running a successful business, keeping the books straight, and managing the P&L. 

Michael's professional experience includes senior roles as Head of Trading, Chief Compliance Officer, Registered Principal roles, and Fund Accounting Supervisor, having worked at top global financial institutions over his career.  Michael obtained the knowledge and experience of producing and managing the accounting for institutional investment books of record, and daily publishing the net asset values of publicly traded mutual funds.  Excelling in his role of Client Service Officer and focusing on his client's needs and offering solutions to meet them, Michael oversaw a book of complex institutional client relationships, being the main daily service contact for senior client managers, including the C Suite.

Today, Michael draws on that experience and passion for seeing small and medium sized businesses succeed and obtain financing for growth and acquisitions, by offering a new bookkeeping and consulting service.  Michael utilized QuickBooks desktop when he ran his business, but today he uses Intuit's QuickBooks Online for all the rich toolset and accessibility that it offers, and Michael holds the Intuit Trained Bookkeeper certification.
